We will still offer telephone appointments to anyone who is shielding, self-isolating, has symptoms or are awaiting a test. Otherwise all appointments will be at the surgery with strict measures to keep you & our team safe.
This means your pet will once again benefit from a thorough physical examination from our vets, though your visit will look a bit different from pre-Covid times!
What we need you to do:
When booking your appointment please make sure your mobile telephone number (the one that the vet can call you on when you arrive for your appointment) is up-to-date.
Please ‘check-in’ by texting ‘APPOINTMENT’ & your surname & pet’s name to 07587375350 on arrival at the surgery and wait in your vehicle for the vet to call you on your mobile.
Once you have passed your pet over to the vet at the front door please return to your car & keep your mobile handy.
When invited by your vet to come & collect your pet from our reception area please remember to wear a FACE covering, sanitise your HANDS & CHECK-IN using the QR code or by signing the sheet provided. Please only one person per family.
In specific circumstances, such as euthanasia, you and a limited number of family members may be able to stay with your pet. A team member will discuss with you how we will do this so that everyone can remain safe and comfortable.
Please be patient with the whole team, these are new ways of working & may not always run smoothly but please be reassured we are doing our very best to balance your pet’s care with remaining Covid secure.
