The Hilltop Vets Pet Health Plan is designed to help our loyal clients reduce and spread the cost of essential routine veterinary care, as well as offering members fantastic discounts on other services they may require.
The plan is easy to join and will save on average around a THIRD, compared with the normal cost, of routine preventative healthcare. Regular health checks with our vets and qualified nurses give you peace of mind that problems will be picked up early, giving your pet the best chance of living a happy, healthy life. We have Pet Health Plans for all sizes of dogs, cats and rabbits. It doesn’t matter how old your pet is, our plans are designed to suit all ages.
Signing your pet up as a member of the Pet Health Plan is subject to a £5 administration fee, which will be collected with your first monthly installment. Membership of the scheme can be cancelled anytime by informing the practice or our plan administrators, Vetsure.
Members benefit from:
- Annual routine booster vaccinations*
- Kennel cough vaccination for dogs
- Year round flea, tick and worm control
- Six monthly health check (at annual vaccination and one interim check)
- Microchipping or £10 off food
- 50% off puppy and kitten vaccination course
- 10% off dentals, neutering and food
Monthly cost:
Cat £12.99
Small/Medium Dog (under 20kg) £14.99
Large Dog (20-40kg) £17.99
Giant Dog (over 40kg) £22.99
Rabbit £7.99
*Based on 2019 prices for vaccinations, standard monthly flea & quarterly worm prevention, microchipping, neutering and non-routine annual spend across all species covered in the plans
Please note that plans taken out prior to March 2019 have slightly different benefits to PHP. If you have PAW or VIP plan membership and would like a copy of the T&Cs please contact the surgery.
How does being a Plan member help with costs for pets that are already insured?
Note that our Pet Health Plan is NOT a pet insurance product. Pet insurance is aimed at providing cover for the treatment of unforeseen accidents or illnesses and does not typically cover preventative healthcare costs.
To link the two aspects of pet healthcare, Vetsure will give Pet Health Plan members 5% off Vetsure Pet Insurance when you take out a policy with them (or when you renew an existing one). That way, they can reward you further for your commitment to keeping your beloved pet in the best of health – at the same time as providing cover for the cost of treatment of accidents and illnesses through Vetsure Pet Insurance.
