Nationally and internationally renowned surgeon Dr Hannes Bergmann DrMedVet DipECVS MRCVS offers cutting edge treatment for patients with a wide range of orthopaedic and soft tissue conditions. Hannes graduated in Vienna in 2001,went on to complete an internship at the School of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover and a three year residency in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Berne, Switzerland. Hannes became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2008 and holds RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons ) Specialist Status.

Since 2007 Hannes has provided surgical care to pets from all over the South of England and has developed an enviable reputation, not only as an incredibly talented specialist but as a compassionate and approachable veterinary surgeon, who gives his valuable time to helping patients and colleagues alike. Hannes provides continuing education for veterinary surgeons in the UK, as well as lecturing around the world.

Since our opening in 2017 Hannes has treated hundreds of patients at Hilltop. In March 2023 Hannes opened his own purpose build premises just 10 minutes’ drive away at Farmoor and will continue to offer soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures as well as CT scanning for referred patients.
